Griffon à Poil Laineux
An extinct French hunting griffon, also called the Griffon Boulet after Emmanuel Boulet, who developed it in the 19th century from Monsieur Govellain’s lines. Its name, "woolly-haired griffon", marks it as the long-haired version of the hunting griffons (compare the Korthals Griffon, the griffon à poil dur). The FCI originally recognized it but later removed it as the breed declined.
