Berger de Crau
A herding breed from the Crau plain in southern France, traditionally used to drive large transhumant flocks. It is critically endangered: in 2011 only about 30 dogs were thought to remain, though their genetic diversity was found to be unusually wide. Its coat is usually black and curly.
