WASM video engine, one-time load

First conversion downloads the engine (about 30 MB)

Built for browser-native conversions

The converter uses a WebAssembly video engine, so you can compress or re-encode assets for presentations, social media, or clients without uploading source footage. The engine downloads once and stays cached in this tab.

  • Pick MP4/H.264, WEBM/VP9, or GIF loops with one click.
  • Control CRF, resolution, and frame rate to hit a target size.
  • Mute or keep audio, and optimize for presentations, landing pages, or previews.
  • All processing stays local—ideal for sensitive or client material.

Practical presets that work

  1. Pitch decks: MP4, 720p, CRF 23–25; mute if narration is not needed.
  2. Landing pages: WEBM, 720p, CRF 30–32, and 24 fps for lighter hero loops.
  3. GIF previews: 480p and 10–14 fps to keep loops small but readable.
  4. Retain detail: keep 1080p and lower CRF (18–22) for portfolio reels.

Preload the engine before a batch of conversions. The warm cache keeps turnaround quick, even offline.

Frequently asked questions

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion engine runs as WebAssembly inside your browser, so your videos stay on your device.

Which formats can I export?

MP4 (H.264 + AAC), WEBM (VP9 + Opus), and GIF loops. More containers may be added as the WASM build grows.

Can I adjust quality and size?

Yes. Adjust CRF, resolution, frame rate, and muting to reach the size you need without leaving the page.

Does it work offline after loading?

Once the engine is cached (about 30 MB the first time), conversions run offline in this tab.
